The iSPEX-project ‘Measure Particular Matter with Your Smartphone’ has won the Academische Jaarprijs and thereby an amount of 100.000 euros. In an exciting final in the Leidse Stadsgehoorzaal, the iSPEX team beat the other two teams from Groningen. With the awarded prize we can realize our plan to stage the greatest Dutch citizen science project ever, with the help of an attachment to a smartphone and an App that goes along with it.
